3) Join us in person at the public hearing on Thursday, Jan. 5th, 2023. Time and place are TBD so please stay tuned here for details.
4) Please sign our online petition.
5) Finally, please do your own research and do not listen exclusively to the information provided by the SF Office of Cannabis or the State of California. For example, Andrew D. Huberman, Associate Professor of Neurobiology at Stanford University, states unequivocally that cannabis use has a far different impact on the developing brain than it does on individuals over 25 years of age.
Further, Daniel Amen, one of the leading experts in mental health in the US, has performed tens of thousands of brain scans on all sorts of subjects. Here are his results on marijuana users. As you can see, regular marijuana use significantly impairs cognitive function. The Office of Cannabis and the dispensary owners will not admit to this fact, because they want to sell more cannabis. That's their business model.
Thank you!
