Neighborhood Cleanup 18th & Taraval Street
FOPSWP has proudly partnered with RefuseRefuseSF.org to host our first monthly cleanup event. Date: Sunday, Oct. 2nd, 2022 Time: 2-4pm Location: Happy Days Preschool, 809 Taraval Street, San Francisco, CA 94116 (corner of 18th Ave & Taraval Street) Click here for flyer We will provide pickers, garbage bags, and safety vests, and pick up trash on Taraval Street between 16th Ave and 22nd Ave. Tell your friends! The purpose of the cleanup is to tidy up our neighborhood, meet our neighbors, and educate others on the proposed opening of a cannabis dispensary at the Gold Mirror restaurant. In addition, we will provide information on the pitfalls and broken promises of California's legalized cannabis market, a multibillion dollar industry that is estimated to be the largest legal weed market in the world.
